From a personal standpoint I was scared and worried if I could do this. I remember making a statement to my professor at that time, something along the lines of I am not a masters level writer, after receiving an assignment that required me to write in APA style. In grad school I had to ask what APA writing was. I know that this sounds weird coming from a person who had to have a bachelors degree to even get into the program.
The key point here is that I started this journey doubting that I could do it because I was never set up in life to believe that I could. I knew that I wanted it and I was gonna work my hardest to make it happen. I had lots of apprehensions about my cohort. They were all young folks that appeared to have way more knowledge than me.
